Editing: they've used transition as well as cuts throughout the trailer

story line pitch
a girl called lily who is 14, is bullied and locked in a cupboard but finds a pencil case which gives her money, the pencil case has alot of writing (codes) which lily has no idea what they're meant for. she finds money in the pencil case every morning but when she tries to become popular with other kids in school by telling them about the pencil case no one believes her and the pencil case stops producing money so at the end she decides to find out who and why and how this pencil case works, tries hard to find the owner.....

Conventions of a trailer - JUNO
Editing: used in JUNO includes of fades to yellow with titles of information about the character juno, with the first one being 'Juno's life just got complicated', which is used all the way with different titles throughout the whole trailer. the transition from each fade has a veryt quick pase, it also mirrors the sound cuts inbetween each title. it has alot of quick cuts between of the titles.
Sound: music has a huge part in this trailer as it is played throughout the whole of the trailer. Music is fairly fast paced with quick beats played throught out the trailer however the music is kept lower to enable the dialogue to be heard.
Titles and written language: In this trailer, every 10secs into a scene includes of a title which also related to the following scene shown. the first title is shown 28secs into the trailer (first title introduces the character saying 'Juno's life just got complicated'), this continues throughout the whole trailer with various titles telling us something about the film and the following scences after each title relates back to the title. representation of institution at the end of the the trailer says "released by twentieth century fox", and also shows us the website for the official film which may give us more information about the film that can be looked into.
Picture: use of camera shots include of many close ups and medium shots in this trailer to show emotions of the main character. the use of mise en scene inlcudes of a teen based bedroom.
